The Pre-2 classroom provides a nurturing environment where children strengthen their self-help skills, develop friendships, and learn how to treat others with kindness and respect—all while experiencing the love and teachings of Jesus.

During this exciting stage of development, children are encouraged to build confidence and independence through everyday experiences. Our teachers guide children as they learn to cooperate with peers, solve problems, take turns, and develop respect for others. Through play and positive interactions, children gain a strong sense of self while discovering their unique abilities and talents.

We provide opportunities for children to make choices, explore their interests, and practice important life skills. From pouring their own milk and helping set the snack table to making decisions in learning centers and working through challenges with friends, children learn that they are capable, confident, and valued.

Each day is filled with meaningful learning experiences that support social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual growth. Working together, self-directed play, outdoor exploration, and nutritious meals are all important parts of a Preschooler’s day at Little Lambs.

In our Pre-2 classroom, children are encouraged to:
