Kindergarten Readiness

Come and visit our classroom and you will see a fun, hands-on approach to all the things your child will need to be ready for kindergarten. We also work closely with curriculum director to ensure all activities are in line with kindergarten ready goals and curriculum. Our goal is to ensure that each child is socially, emotionally and academically ready for kindergarten wrapped in the love and knowledge of Jesus.

Along with our curriculum we offer the following specials to enhance the all around learning experience:

Monday – Music- Songs, Games, Instruments

Tuesday – State study- This includes activities and fun facts about a different state each week

Wednesday – Technology- Children bring their devices and play educational games

- Chapel – Bible story,Verse, songs and prayer each week
- Journals

Thursday – Art- We get messy and explore all kids of art activities

Friday – Science

THE LITTLE LAMBS KINDERGARTEN READINESS PROGRAM TEACHES TO THE WHOLE CHILD:

SPIRITUALLY

Integration of Tru Curriculum Environments (currently used with Children and Family Ministries at CLC)
Involvement in and awareness of community
“Faith Fun” Fridays
Daily sharing of The Big God Story and devotionals
Faith nurturing through prayer, blessings, chapel time, special music, etc.

ACADEMICALLY

Small teacher-to-student ratio (1:10)
Differentiated instruction
Use of state standards to guide instruction
Strong, research-based integrated curricula: StarFall, Everyday Math, Scholastic
